Copyright Workshop – January 31

Are you interested in copyright issues? Do you want to know more about copyright law in Canada?

DJIM, in conjunction with Dalhousie’s Canadian Association of Law Libraries Student Interest Group (CALL), has organized a Copyright Workshop for all graduate students in the Faculty of Management.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, January 31st and will feature copyright and intellectual property experts. Presenters include Ian Colford and Jason MacDonald from Dalhousie Libraries’ Copyright Office, Mark Lewis, Reference/Information Technology Librarian from Dal’s Dunn Law Library, and Marc Belliveau, Intellectual Property Partner at Stewart McKelvey. Each will be focusing on various aspects of copyright and intellectual property laws and issues in Canada. A brief introduction to copyright and the key resources available will be provided from members of DJIM and CALL.
